Skull Repair

This skull was desired for use in a photoshoot that I was attending as a model. The problem was that it had been sitting outside and was a plaything for local javelinas, which meant that they tossed it around and generally misused it, leaving it broken and unstable. Also filled with spiders.

I cleaned it up with a toothbrush, paintbrush, and some paper towels, using a stick from outside to get at the spider webs and grit inside the brain casing. Then with some wood glue and zip ties, I reconstructed the skull.

The skull was used in photographs that were taken for Rogo for a project that he’s working on.
